Visual stimulation is a very important part of kid’s development. Research has shown that newborn's visual activity is still developing. Infant’s eyes can only detect large contrasts between light and dark, or black and white. Using black and white, high-contrast cards is the best stimulation for your baby's vision.
There are many toys that you can find. Post some close to where your baby spends their playtime. Change the cards every couple of days to provide a novel environment.

Some of toys you can make from felt as I did. I used white felt, black and white stikers and ribbon to make cards. Use these cards as a "baby book" or garland. It can travel anywhere you go!
